Andrew Bolt, an Australian journalist, was sued in a class action on behalf of light-skinned Aboriginal people in the Federal Court in 2011 over comments he made in articles which suggested that they weren’t genuine Aboriginal people and pretended to be Aboriginal to access certain benefits and entitlements.
